Kampala: A cloud of cheerful enthusiasm and anticipation englufed the city this Saturday as Kampala Parents’ School held its annual sports day.
Everyone performed admirably, displaying tremendous team spirit and a consistent commitment to the important ideal of fair play.
The event that took place at the School Campus Naguru kicked off with a spectacular parade. The pupils led by boy scouts marched to the delight of their proud parents before the activities on the field that included athletics and fun games like the sack race.
The school’s sports day has since become the biggest, best and family-friendly event in Kampala with parents witnessing their children participate in amazing sports activities.
“Every parent’s dream is to see their children flourish in a life of endless opportunities,” the school’s Principal Ms Daphine Kato says.
The school boasts a massive swimming pool, library and great dining hall.
Kampala Parents School is owned by businessman and property mogul Sudhir Ruparelia. The businessman also owns a series of other schools including Delhi Public School, Kampala International School Uganda (KISU) and Victoria University.
