Sad news that has engulfed the entertainment industry and catholic church this morning is that Fr John Scalabrini, the father to Daniela Atim has died.
Scalabrini, an Italian missionary, who has lived in Uganda for a very long time has been battling cancer. His condition got worse last week and was at one time reported dead but it later turned he was still alive.
However, he has this morning been confirmed dead from Nsambya hospital, from where he has been getting. He was about 90 years at the time of his death.
Fr Scalabrini has been the godfather of Jose Chameleone’s wife, Daniela.
He adopted Daniela at a young age following the death of her biological father. Daniela’s biological father was also an Italian missionary and a close friend to Scalabrini.
Scalabrini will be remembered for his good works in Biina. Apart from helping several children like the Danielas, he had also built hospitals, churches and schools in the area. Rest In Peace Fr Scalabrini.
