The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda His Grace Stanley Ntagali’s has lost his son.
Peter Ahimbisibwe Ntagali, reportedly passed away this morning according to a short statement issued by the Church Headquarters at Namirembe, “after a short illness.”
“The family of the Most Rev. Stanley and Mama Beatrice Ntagali regret to announce the death of their son, Peter Ahimbisibwe Ntagali, on Friday morning, 9th December,” the statement read.
The little boy is said to have passed on at Nsambya Hospital where he had been admitted.
Contacted earlier this morning the Rt. Rev. Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira declined to comment on what exactly caused the death.
Meanwhile according to the statement issued by the church, the funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s Cathedral, Namirembe, on Saturday 10th December at 5 p.m.
The deceased Peter Ahimbisibwe Ntagali, was a son to Archbishop Stanley Ntagali and his dear wife Beatrice Ntagali. He is survived by his wife Patience Arinda Ahimbisibwe and their two daughters.
