KAPCHORWA – Police Tuesday confirmed the death of 20 people in a bus accident in Kapchorwa, some 300 kilometres east of Kampala.
Sipi Regional Police spokesperson, Mr Rogers Taitika said the bus overturned several times at about 6:20 pm. He said police are still retrieving bodies from the wreckage.
The bus belonging to Kiryadongo Technical Institute, according to Mr Taitika, was coming from Sipi Falls and heading to Mbale.
