Jackie Nisiima, wife to the deceased Makindye court Magistrate has shockingly revealed that her husband died of a blood clot.
According to a local newspaper, Jackie confirmed the development in a telephone interview.
“What I can confirm is that my husband died of blood clot in the brain according to the post-mortem report.”
Richard Mafabi collapsed and died on Sunday afternoon
Mafabi came to the limelight when he summoned the IGP Gen. Kale Kayihura alongside other police officers to appear before Makindye magistrate court to answer charges of Police brutality.
Opposition Icon Dr Kizza Besigye sent out his condolences while addressing the media at his Kasangati home.
On Sunday, Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago described Richard Mafabi as “a very independent minded Magistrate.”
