Munyonyo: After scooping Booking.com Guest Review Award for 2017, Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort has again today received more international recognition with a prestigious TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for 2018.
Speaking to Daily Post Uganda, Mr. Ajit Singh, Rooms Division Manager said “It’s a great experience and feeling to know that our guests have given us good reviews which shows that we have met their expectations and our guests have enjoyed the facilities and services,” he said in a brief statement.
“This recognition motivates us to maintain high quality standards in all our services. We would like to thank all the guests who voted and made this possible. This is the 4th consecutive year of winning this award since 2015” he added.
TripAdvisor, Inc. is an American travel and restaurant website company providing hotel and restaurant reviews, accommodation bookings and other travel-related content. It also includes interactive travel forums, according to Wikipedia.
The luxury property overlooking Lake Victoria has hosted high profile conferences including the Commonwealth Meeting Heads of State in 2007.
Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort is part of the Speke Group of Hotels, which is under Ruparelia Group of Companies, a owned by tycoon Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia.
It is a leading hotel and one of the few 5-star hotels in the country offering ultimate in luxury accommodation, leisure facilities, fine dining and the finest conference and business meeting facilities.
The hotel also has an Olympic size swimming pool, equestrian centre, 5 star restaurants, gymnasium and sports facilities.
Players in the industry view the award as a big boost for the resort’s global reputation.
