Police early this morning picked up the Makerere University Guild President Roy Semboga over suspicion that he was mobilising students to cause chaos and also file a strongly-worded petition with the Speaker of Parliament.
Semboga was arrested from the main gate alongside four other students,bundled into a Police Patrol vehicle and whisked to the Central Police Station(CPS).
The other arrested students are Mubiru Denis,Sanya Paul,Mutumba Paul and Nuwampira Dalton.
Jackson Mucunguzi,the head of security at Makerere University, said the students were planning to cause chaos.
