Two of the 7 suspects who had been released this morning by Nakawa Court grade one magistrate Noah Sajjabi in relation to the murder of AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi have been re-arrested.
Ahmed Senfuka was arrested near spear motors on his way back home.
This morning Nakawa Court grade one magistrate Noah Sajjabi released on bail 7 out of the 14 people who have been on remand at Luzira prison on charges murdering former AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi and 2 others.
The magistrate had ordered each of the 7 suspects to sign a non-cash bond of shs 50m and their surities to also execute a bond of 500 million shillings to ensure that the suspects return back to court as and to when they are required.
Meanwhile, the suspects’ lawyer Goeffrey Turyamusiima told the confirmed that another suspect Umaru Maganda who was moving on clutches too had been arrested on his way back home.
“I have been informed that they have been taken to the Special Investigations Unit in Kireka and I am trying to follow up on them,”Turyamusiima said.
Police spokesperson AIGP Asan Kasingye however could neither deny nor confirm the rearrests of the suspects.
“I have been told of it and I am trying to find out about it,”Kasingye told this website in a phone interview.
