The outspoken former presidential press secretary, Tamale Mirundi, has vowed to join FDC’s Rtd. Col. Dr. Kizza Besigye when he attacks state house in a bid to claim for presidency.
Mirundi said that Besigye’s defiance campaign still lacks some salt in it and is most likely to gain nothing if it remains the way it is.
Mirundi says the defiance campaign should be taken to a higher level; that is, attacking the state house, other than conducting it at Besigye’s home in Kasangati.
“Besigye calls himself the people’s president. I would support him if he attacked State House but he is in Kasangati.” Mirundi said while appearing at NBS TV this morning.
Mirundi however cautioned Besigye to distance himself from defiance campaigns, saying he will onetime be thumped to pulp by his own people.
“Besigye should not involve himself in some of these defiance campaigns. People will get fed up with him and beat him up.” He concluded.
Besigye, the self-proclaimed People’s president returned to the country yesterday from abroad and vowed to continue with defiance campaigns until President Museveni is ousted.
