JINJA: The police in Jinja District are holding a colleague as a suspect for allegedly defiling his workmate’s 12-year daughter in two nights leading bleeding from her private parts.
The 37-year-old constable is attached to Busedde Police Post in Jinja District. The corporal is currently being held at Jinja Central Police Station as investigations into the matter carry on.
The victim’s father who preferred to remain anonymous said he left his daughter under the care of the colleague, but he instead defiled her in two nights without mercy leading to bleeding from her tiny private parts.
The victim’s father cries: “My daughter was bleeding profusely and on inquiry, she confessed that the suspect slept with her for two consecutive nights, which led to the blood flow.”
He filed a case at Busedde Police Post on Monday and the file was forwarded to Jinja CPS upon the arrest of the suspect
The Kiira Region Police Spokesperson, Ms Diana Nandawula confirmed the crime committed by the dangerous corporal. Meanwhile the victim is undergoing medical treatment.
