KAMPALA: A Digital /Twitter space discussion is set to be held between Ugandans and the National Water and Sewerage Corporation- NWSC Managing Director, Dr. Eng Silver Mugisha to deliberate on the ups and lows of the corporation’s 50 years service.
The discussion is being coordinated by a team of youth passionate about better service delivery in Uganda under the Youth Advocacy Foundation Uganda-YAFU umbrella.
National Water and Sewerage Corporation is a company owned 100% by the Government of Uganda with mandate from the Constitution to offer water and Sewage services to Ugandans in an efficient and viable manner.
National Water and Sewage Cooperation has been delivering these services to Ugandans on behalf of the Government for 50 Years and a number of Cities with over 250 towns now reached with Clean water Coverage and connectivity.
At the launch of 50 years Celebrations at Kololo Airstrip a few days ago, The President of Uganda, His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni appreciated the management, Staff, Board of Directors for the work being done in ensuring that all towns/citizens of Uganda have access to clean water.
The Twitter Space will be hosted by @CanaryMugume, a Journalist with NBS TV, and Co-hosted by @YAFU2026 the official Twitter handle of Youth Advocacy Foundation Uganda-YAFU.
