KAMPALA: Ruparelia Group Hotels, Speke Resort and Conference Centre and Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort have scooped international accolades at 2019 World Luxury Hotels Awards for their world class facilities and service excellence provided. Speke Resort and Conference Center was announced the best Luxury Lakeside Resort on African continent while Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort was named the 2019 Luxury Hotel and Conference Center in the East African region at the 2019 World Luxury Hotel Awards Gala Ceremony held on October 12.

The Speke Resort and Conference Centre, a hotel-resort-conference centre in Kampala, is the biggest among the five 5-star hotels in the country and now the continent. The resort lies adjacent to the Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort. Accommodation consists of 335 rooms, including 55 executive suites and 59 presidential suites.

The resort has 59 Presidential suites with a unique blend of tradition Ugandan and ultra modern furnishings that merge into the Pearl of Africa theme which is carried throughout the entire decor.
