NAIROBI: The Supreme Court on Monday 22 August, received nine presidential election petitions challenging the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission’s (IEBC) presidential results announced on Monday 15 August.

Serve respondent – Tuesday 23 August
Response filed and served – Saturday 27 August
Interlocutory Applications filed and served – Monday 29 August
Response to interlocutory applications filed – Tuesday 30 August
3rd Party (friend of the court) applications filed and served -Wednesday 31 August
Pre-trial conference – Tuesday 3
Hearing and determination of the petition – 14 days from date of filing
Deadline to render verdict – Monday 5 September
