In March, Rashid who is active on Facebook vowed to kill members of the Gaza gang who killed his colleague in Kayole.

Days later in a post on Facebook the officer claimed he and his colleagues had eliminated the young men responsible for the Kayole cop’s death.

Residents of Eastleigh who spoke to TUKO.co.ke say Rashid would visit homes of gang members and give a warning to the young men to stop crime or he will kill them.

”Rashid will make an agreement with families of gang member’s that their sons should stop crime he would at times give the boys money to move out of town and start life afresh but if they continued with the gang mentality he will kill them without flinching,” a resident said.

Some residents also accused the officer of targeting wealthy families and extorting money from them failure he would gun down their children with little provocation.

Rashid is said to be a member of the Pangani 9 an undercover police unit operating in crime prone areas of Eastlands.
