For years now, rumor has had it that Kenya’s sultry singer Judith Nyambura, popularly known as Avril is having an illicit affair with Tanzanian crooner Diamond Platnumz. The rumor was brought to life by Diamond’s move to feature Avril as the Video vixen in his song ‘Kesho’ which was shot in Kenya by Ogopa Deejayz about two years ago.
However, Avril recently came out to refute the speculations surrounding her famed illicit affair with Diamond. In an interview with East African Radio’s Planet Bongo, Avril revealed that Diamond has never been her anything apart from a hardworking friend and inspiration. ’’Diamond is a good friend whom I have known for quite some time’’ She said. Avril also said that when the rumor broke, they were only working on a project and there was nothing more to their friendship.
‘’After we shot the video Kesho, there was no other project we have come together to do and we are not having an affair because I respect him and what he has’’ She added.
