KAMPALA: Juliet Nakandi, a Motorcare employee has come out on her Facebook page to say she is not missing, as earlier indicated by the police and reported by this website.
“This is meant to notify everyone who has come across the above message that I am safe and alive. Police has been contacted and all is well,” she said, as her friends and family got relieved of the scare of losing a loved one.
Police in Kampala had announced the disappearance of Nakandi who it described as a female aged 33 years, a Muganda by tribe and a resident of Kisaasi Nakawa division Kampala district.
Ms Nakandi works with Motorcare Uganda the same company which James Kalumba, who went missing on August 8 and whose body was found in the wee hours of Monday morning lying dead in a swamp along Entebbe road worked for.
“Nakandi disappeared yesterday at around 1700 from her work place Motor care Jinja road any information leading to her is highly appreciated,” police said. A case of disappearance had been opened vide SDRef 48/03/09/2019 of Kira road police station .
