NAGURU – There was excitement all over after PLE results were released by Uganda Examination Board today Thursday. The best performing schools as well as students were smiling from ear to ear with Joy after some of them received their results

The atmosphere was not different at Kampala Parents’ school as the community got into celebratory moods as soon as results started tricking in.

Although most teachers agree that they were not the expected results since they set standards very high, it was still good enough to be among the top performing schools with 144 passing in first grade and 86 in second grade with only 3 in third grade out of 234 students who sat PLE last year.

While commenting on performance of the school and students, the school principal Daphne Kato says “Our Director provided everything that a child needs to study and excel and the teachers are happy and sure that all their pupils will join schools of their choices,” the school principal said,

She added that despite hiring qualified teachers to handle the children at their school, team work and good work relation between the teachers, parents and the entire community brought about the excellent performance both in and out of the school curricula.

“Most of the Parents coming for results are happy and we know our children will go to schools of their first choice,” Daphne stressed.

“our teachers worked hard and finished the syllabus in second term so we used the 3rd term to revise. We worked as a team and also carried out continuous assessment meetings to know up with our pupil’s performance trends with several revision classes.”
