KAMPALA – The condition of Mityana Municipality Member of Parliament Francis Zaake has worsened after falling off the hospital bed.
According to Zaake’s relatives at the hospital, Zaake was transferred today to Nsambya Hospital for a scan after suffering complications in the spine, chest and stomach.
Julius Katongole, a relative who has been taking care of the MP since Friday says that Zaake’s health started normalizing.
He, however, says that Zaake’s condition worsened last night when he fell off from his hospital bed and hurt his neck.
Katongole says that while at Nsambya Hospital, Zaake was given painkillers on grounds that the Hospital cannot manage his condition and that he can only better be treated abroad.
Meanwhile, Zaake is wanted by police for escaping from lawful custody.
Zaake allegedly escaped from Arua Regional Referral Hospital on Monday
Emilian Kayima, the police spokesperson says once Zaake is discharged from hospital, he will have to answer for his actions.
