It was a cold Saturday evening at Crested Crane hotel in Jinja as Busoga region selected their representatives for the Miss Tourism Uganda pageant. The contestants showcased their skills in spoken word, fashion, and catwalk among other things.
As the event came to an end, the region had gotten its representatives at the national level with Nyanzi Hope Gloria Kyotolime, 21, from Namutumba District being crowned the new Miss Tourism Busoga. The 1st Runner Up was Namukose Norah Mercy, 23, from Kamuli District, and the 2nd Runner Up was Kawala Lydia, 21, from Namutumba District.
The Miss Tourism regional tour heads to Buganda region next.
