MUNYONYO – The Indian community celebrated the Diwali food festival on Sunday at Speke Resort Munyonyo.
Diwali or Deepavali is a Hindu festival celebrated in November with the focus of creating unity, love, reconciliation, and peace.

It is usually a family day out, full of fun activities, meeting new people as well as enjoying great Indian delicacies and drinks.
The event that covered two arenas was filled with vendors selling different kinds of Indian foods.
The event concluded with fireworks at the lakeside as revelers danced to Indian music.
