Maj Gen Kasirye Gwanga has skipped the ongoing piping of senior army officers that were recently promoted by President Museveni.
Gen Gwanga and 61 other officers were supposed to be decorated by the Chief of Defence Forces, Gen David Muhoozi at Mbuya army headquarters today.
While all the 61 officers showed up for the decoration, Gen Gwanga was the only notable absentee.
The Master of Ceremonies said Gen Gwanga was absent for some reason but didn’t divulge what reason was advanced for his missing.
