The nominations for Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party presidential flagbearer for the 2021 general elections which had been slated to take place this Friday have been postponed.
This was confirmed by the party’s publicist, Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda, who said Friday was Eid day for the Moslem community.
Ssemujju announced August 3-4 as new nomination dates for aspirants.
The main opposition party’s publicist also used the same occassion to demand for the national voter register from the Electoral Commission, in preparation for the Special Interest Groups electoral process which kicks next week.
