KAMPALA: The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB), the body in charge of administering national exams in the country, is expected to release the 2018 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results today in Kampala.
The release of the exams results was confirmed yesterday by the Ministry of Education and Sports spokesperson, Mr Patrick Muinda who said they will be released at the Office of the Prime Minister.
A total of 99,672 students wrote their UACE that started on Monday, November 12, 2018. UACE is the highest level of secondary education cycle in Uganda.
Of the said 99,672 candidates who sat the exams last year, 53,359 were male and 41,313 were female. The learners wrote their exams from 2,217 centres across the country.
UNEB already released PLE and UCE results, with students joining different schools in the country.
