Drowning of minister Kibuule’s twins: Police arrest four suspects as CCTV switched off

mINISTER RONALD KIBUULE ENJOYING MOMENT WITH HIS TWINS WHO HAVE DIED

MUKONO: Police in Mukono have arrested four people in connection to the drowning of Minister Ronald Kibuule’s toddler twins yesterday.

The four suspects, mainly domestic workers, according to police have been arrested to aid investigations into the death of Raiden Waswa and Roman Kato, both aged 2 years, who drowned in the swimming pool at home. The CCTV are suspected to have been switched off when the incident happened.

The suspects include; Nalubwama Scovia, 32 years, who is a housemaid, Nankunda Peace, 23 years also a housemaid; Lawrence Kibaya, 33 years, a shamba boy at the home and a security guard identified as Agripa Kumanya.

According to the Ministers’ emoluments and benefits act; A minister is entitled to 2 domestic workers, guards (both home and mobile) and drivers among others all paid by the government. Minister Kibuule’s homes are tightly guarded especially after the land wrangles that led to death of some residents.
Mourners are baffled about the whereabouts of all these domestic workers the time wen kids were loitering in the compound.
