Cindy is the new music queen of East Africa, can you believe it?
Well, she too still can’t believe it. She is still speechless! Reacting about her Sunday triumph that saw her emerge as the Best female artist in East Africa at the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA), the ‘Tempo’ hitmaker was out of words to say.
“God is faithful. I’m still speechless. I am the best female artiste in East Africa 2016. Thanks, Afrima awards….” she said.
She further thanked her producers Nessim and J-Blessing for the audio and video respectively.
“I also want to appreciate Nessim for producing Still standing and J-blessing for a great video. #TeamCindycate mwe abasinga. Love Uganda. Africa.”
The other Ugandan winners at the awards were Eddy Kenzo and Klear Kut’s Unique for writing ‘Njogereza’.
