KAMPALA: Archbishop Dr. Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu, the head of Church of Uganda has blessed Primary seven candidates of Kampala Parents School ahead of the national Primary Leaving (PLE) exams next week.
The PLE examinations start on Monday, November 4, across the country with briefing of candidates.
On Thursday, November 31, Most Rev. Mugalu, presided over the annual dedication prayers for the Kampala Parents School candidates, and uoting the Bible verse of Deuteronomy 31:8-9, said;- “The lord himself goes before you and will be with you”.
During his preaching peppered with examples of his best football team Arsenal FC of England, he wished the candidates success but also implored them to remember God as they go for exams.
The pupils were supported by their parents who joined them for the prayers, with the event filled with joy, prayer and happiness.
Star singer Fresh Kid who is also a candidate this year received a success card from former Minister for Children Affairs and now Senior Presidential Advisor on same docket Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi ahead of the exams.
Fresh Kid was award a scholarship by city tycoon and proprietor of the Kampala Parents School Sudhir Ruparelia.
